PEMBUATAN DAN SOSIALISASI PENGGUNAAN ALAT BANTU PELEPAS INNER RACE BEARING GENERATOR LOKOMOTIF

Abstrak

The purpose of this service is to provide convenience to locomotive workers, especially in the electrical class, especially in the removal of the inner race bearing on the locomotive generator. This is because the process of removing the inner race bearing on the locomotive generator with manual power can cause risks to the safety of workers and to the generator's defects. The method used in this service is in the form of designing, designing and manufacturing, as well as socializing the use of tools and handing over the tools to Balai Yasa Yogyakarta. The results of the design and manufacture of the inner race bearing release device on the generator were practiced and tested at the Balai Yasa Yogyakarta workshop. This test uses variables, namely the release time and the efficiency of the amount of power. The test was carried out four times with the number of maintenance personnel carrying out maintenance, namely 2 people and the average discharge was 2.8 seconds. This tool was handed over to Balai Yasa Yogyakarta so that it can be used to facilitate locomotive maintenance.
